Sony wanted to examine the brand architecture for its consumer electronics division, specifically the way the brand was represented in-market and on product. Which product lines should retain their own unique brand identity? Which products should maintain a close connection to the Sony master brand? A range of model architecture scenarios were developed to help Sony understand the implications.The architecture was further visualized on Sony web pages, camera and laptop packaging, and product.
